Jennie Leetham

Jennie has worked in the legal profession since completing her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in 1998. She began as a receptionist in the area of family law where she quickly advanced to become a paralegal, office manager, and bookkeeper. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2007 and began working in civil litigation soon thereafter. She has extensive experience in bad faith insurance, serious personal injury, and defamation claims. Joining Robbins Curtin Millea & Showalter, LLC in 2023 has provided Jennie the opportunity to follow her passion of helping those most vulnerable while she further expands her civil litigation knowledge in the areas of wrongful death and civil rights advocacy.

Jennie is a third-generation Arizona native who comes from a family with ties to the American Southwest dating back to the 1730s. Her ancestor, Juan Barela, was one of the original settlers of the Tomé Land Grant of 1739 in New Mexico from the King of Spain. She enjoys researching her family’s ancestry and learning of their contributions to building towns and roadways, mining, and standing up against discrimination.

In her free time, Jennie also enjoys spending time with family and friends (especially with her partner, Jacob, and their pup, Snags), traveling, expanding her knowledge about other cultures, listening to live music, playing trivia, spending time in the outdoors, and practicing yoga.
